Kudetama pudding mochi balls

First off from the latest package: these Kudetama pudding balls. Very sweet, and the pudding itself inside these mochi balls is delicious. Better when chilled. If you don't know about kudetama, he's a popular lazy egg character.

He's among other things a popular sticker on the Japanese Line chat app (that everyone uses here). He's one of those phenomena similar to Hello Kitty — almost any kind of products exist with Kudetama in them.

Onigiri senbei

Onigiri senbei

These onigiri senbei crackers are one of my go-to snacks in Japan. Soy sauce flavor with a rice cookie, with some seaweed flakes.

Cameleon hard candies

Cameleon hard candies

These cameleon hard candies start off with cola, but the taste and color changes over time. After sucking on the candy for a while, tell your friend to take a peek, as the color of the candy tells your future.

Red means you'll be very happy, yellow means a bit happy, green is just normal and brown means... you're doomed. Or at least not that happy. You can also tell by the taste. Red = strawberry, yellow = lemon, green = apple and brown = grape.

Puccho balls

Puccho balls

These Puccho Balls have three layers. The outer layer is sugar-coating, under which is a hard candy layer and finally soft candy inside. The flavors are peach, lemon, cola and soda.
